Are You Sick? Jesus heals

PHYSICIAN AND THE SICK
Study Texts: Luke 5: 31-32; 4:25-27; John 9:41
The Following questions and more will be attended to in this study. We will be speaking from physical and spiritual perspectives, Jesus and sinners (Also those claiming righteousness whereas they aren’t):
Who is a Physician?
Who are the Sick?
What is their relationship?
(Personal Study 2 Timothy 3)
Ø  Physician: A Doctor especially one specializing in general medicine. Medicine here is the study and treatment of diseases and injuries, a substances that is taken to cure illness
Ø  The Sick: People who are ill i.e. weak and unable to do what they have done when healthy
Ø  Relationship: The sick goes to the physician for treatment, so that they can get well, a physician diagnoses the sick, to know whether he needs drugs or treatment.
Now this treatment or drugs will cost certain amount of money i.e. there is tendency for the sick not getting treatment once he or she can’t afford the bill. Also, a sick person might feel he/she can manage his or herself without the physician. They keep the sickness within themselves until they cannot manage themselves anymore; these categories of people who get heal where only lucky, because most die in their sickness.
It is also possible for a physician to say I will help you, and pay your bills, but come and be diagnosed and I will treat you free but the sick could say I’m not sick, I don’t need your help; I am perfectly ok, just the tedious work I did made me weak, I’ll be fine, thanks. Such that does that deceives themselves because it will come to a time they will seek for help and will not find, they will ask for treatment but won’t get. So therefore saying or thinking you are whole doesn’t make you whole, but the evidence matters a lot i.e. been diagnosed; treated and given drugs; using the drugs without abusing/continuing the treatment until you are cured or whole. These also applies to the life of sinners who think they are righteous or who thinks they can help themselves or who think they can’t pay the price to become righteous or who dwells in sins and criticize others or who procrastinates not thinking of being overwhelmed by the sickness or who never cares or knows if the sickness is transmittable to others or whether those it is transmitted to can survive or manage it as they have, before the die.
Once a sick person is cured from a sickness he/she is not expected to fall into the same sickness again but today many so-called Christian still live in sins and are feeling comfortable committing those sins but still they claim they are like Christ. Philippians 2:5-11, John 15:1-11. Many so-called Christian have forgotten the law of God yet they claim they know God. They bend the commandment of God to suit their needs. Some say only God can help them forgetting that God has done his part by sending his son to sacrificed and until we come close to him, we are going to end in the lake of fire without escape James; 1 John 1:7-9
Even some whole people go to the physician Often, for checkups, this could be monthly, quarterly etc. because they don’t trust their wholesome. Some Sickness stays in the Body for long without been noticed by victims. Most people in this category feel they are okay but they are not. Now consider a man who is whole still depending in the advice, prescription of drugs from a physician to make him healthier by not depending on his wholesomeness. Many have without discovering what killed them. So there are still many sinners who will go to hell without knowing the cause until they are accused in hell and found guilty. Some will know they are in sin but will not repent until they get to hell where there is no second chance. So now the choice is yours to make. Will you continue in sin and say grace should abound. Paul says “GOD FORBID”.
There are still many sick persons that will die because of ignorance whereas many are dead and some are dying right now. Could you imagine a sick person arguing with a doctor; telling a doctor he doesn’t know what he is doing, some patient frustrate the effort of doctors, some hate drugs and treatment; they prefer to remain sick than be healed. So many are to say their problems to the doctor while some are scared of what/who will heal them.
